Sign a PDF without uploading it
You can place a signature on a PDF without sending it to any server. LocalSign lets you draw a signature with your mouse or finger (or upload a signature image) and position it on the page, all in your browser.
Why this is useful
A signature usually goes on something sensitive — an agreement, a consent form, an HR document. Uploading both the document and your signature image to a third-party site means two pieces of personal data leave your control. Signing locally keeps the file and the signature on your device. To be clear about scope: this places a simple electronic signature mark and is not a certified or identity-verified signature.
How to use it
- Open the editor and choose your PDF.
- Click Signature, then draw your signature or upload a signature image.
- Drag and resize the signature onto the right spot.
- Download the signed PDF — nothing was uploaded.
Good to know
- Places a simple electronic signature mark only — no identity verification.
- Not a certified/qualified digital signature (DSC), Aadhaar eSign, or notarization.
- It does not guarantee the legal validity of any document.

Privacy & honesty
Your documents stay on your device — LocalSign has no servers that receive your files. Signatures, stamps, highlights, shapes, and other annotations are visual changes created by you. LocalSign does not verify, certify, notarize, or legally validate documents.
