LocalSign lets you place text, dates, images, and a simple electronic signature mark onto your own PDF files entirely within your web browser. It has no user accounts, performs no server-side processing, stores nothing in the cloud, and does not upload your documents.
What this tool does not do
- It does not provide legal advice of any kind.
- It does not verify the identity, authority, capacity, ownership, or authenticity of any signer.
- It does not create certificate-based digital signatures (DSC) or qualified electronic signatures.
- It does not support Aadhaar eSign or any government eSign scheme.
- It does not provide notarization.
- It does not produce an audit trail.
- It does not guarantee that a document edited or signed with it is legally valid, enforceable, admissible, authentic, or accepted by any government, court, organization, employer, bank, or third party in any jurisdiction.
Your responsibility
A “simple electronic signature mark” is a visual element placed on a page. Whether such a mark is legally sufficient depends entirely on your jurisdiction, the type of document, and the requirements of the parties involved. You are solely responsible for determining whether this tool is appropriate for your use and for obtaining qualified legal advice where needed.
No warranty
LocalSign is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the tool will be error-free or that an exported PDF will render identically in every PDF viewer. Always review your exported file before relying on it.
